Your Family Therapist,

Grace Casper, LMFTA

Sometimes you wonder if your relationship is supposed to feel this hard.

You’re exhausted by the same arguments, the same misunderstandings, and the same cycle of feeling disconnected. Maybe intimacy feels strained or lost. Maybe sex has become a source of pressure or avoidance rather than connection. Maybe you and your partner have different needs, desires, or expectations, and it feels impossible to get on the same page.

Or perhaps your relationship is facing unique challenges—navigating a blended family, working through the impact of past relationships, or struggling to feel fully seen and understood in your identity. As an identity-affirming therapist, I know how important it is to feel safe, validated, and supported in your relationship, whether you’re grappling with your own identity, navigating non-traditional dynamics, or just trying to build a love that feels authentic to you.

You’re ready for support. You need a therapist who won’t just nod and listen but will help you create real, lasting change.

Hi, I’m Grace!

Grace Casper, LMFTA, under the Supervision of Sara Hadgraft, LPC, LMFT, AAMFT Supervisor

I’m Grace Casper, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate under the supervision of Sara Hadgraft. I specialize in helping couples and families navigate relationship stress, sexual and intimacy issues, and the unique challenges of blended families. My own journey through divorce and co-parenting has shaped my passion for this work—I understand firsthand how complex relationships can be, and I believe they can also be deeply fulfilling and transformative.

I believe in real, practical, and lasting change.

Relationships aren’t just about communication; they’re about connection, trust, and vulnerability. That’s why my approach is rooted in attachment theory, emotional insight, and practical strategies that help you and your partner not just communicate better, but understand each other better.

  • I believe intimacy is more than just physical; it’s emotional, mental, and spiritual.

  • I believe sexual concerns—whether it’s desire differences, shame, or disconnection—are normal and treatable.

  • I believe all couples and individuals deserve a space where their identities and relationships are affirmed, respected, and supported.

  • I believe relationships take work, but they should never feel like a battle.

  • I believe healing in your relationship starts with healing yourself.

With training in Gottman Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Family Systems Theory, and Sex Therapy, I help couples move past resentment, rekindle intimacy, and build a relationship that feels true to them.

What is it like to work with me?

In session, you’ll find a balance of practical tools, deep exploration, and compassionate accountability. I meet my clients where they are—sometimes that means helping them navigate a tough conversation, and other times it means uncovering long-held patterns that keep them stuck.

We might laugh together, we might cry, but most importantly, my goal is to help you feel seen and understood.

Want to know more about my background?

I started my career in a different field, earning a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Alabama before spending a decade in marketing and startup culture. As a Director of Culture, I honed my skills in interpersonal connection and conflict mediation, which ultimately led me to my true calling—helping people build healthier relationships.

I earned my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Syracuse University and have since dedicated my career to supporting couples and families through life’s challenges.

Outside of therapy, I stay busy—whether it's aerial yoga, kickboxing, writing prose, or cheering on my husband and three kids. Life is meant to be lived fully, and I bring that same passion into the therapy room.
